My Halloween collection includes Bats, Ghosts, and Skulls. I display this collection the month of October. The Halloween collection is displayed the same time my Fall Collection is displayed. The Fall collection is displayed starting in September and stays up through Thanksgiving. I think of my Fall Collection as food you harvest which includes Pumpkins and Corn. |

Drips in my Halloween collection? Yes, just look at them. These heads look like ghost heads. When I bought these, I thought they were a set. After a little research I found out they're both drips from a set called "Drip and Drop." Their partners "Drop" are half their height, the eyes are open, and they have a Devilish look/smile. Drip has 4 holes, the eyes are closed looking down with three eyelashes on each eyelid. One shaker has brown eyeliner and the other has black eyeliner. They both have a dark red lipstick on their frowning lips. Both have very much crazing, but it looks good. They are 3¼" or 18cm tall. Neither have their stoppers. Two skeleton heads are the salt and pepper shakers. One has 3 holes the other has two holes. The skeleton heads include their top jaw. Each piece is 3" or 7½cm tall and fit into their own hole on top of a 3" x 2" or 7½cm x 5cm brick that is pink with gray spots. Above their hole is the bottom part of their jaw and if you tap their head it nods. They have gold trim on top of their head and around the edges of their mouth. This off white salt and pepper shaker set stands 3" or 7½cm tall. Both are in the shape of a tombstone with brown writing on them. The 2-holed salt shaker states, " Boot Hill - Here lies Salty O'Day. 1861-1881 Hoss Thief. A rope necktie an old oak tree and salty wasn't what he used to be. Tombstone" The 2-holed pepper shaker states, "Boot Hill - Here like Pepper Tate 1860-1881 Hanged by Mistake. He was right he was wrong but we strung him up and now he's gone. Arizona" I beleive some purchased these in Tombstone, Arizona. Both shakers are decorated with a green cactus on each side. Both are missing their stoppers. |
